I spent a week in Scotland and the Orkney Islands few weeks ago, It is nice to travel again. Even though Scotland is part of the UK, the scenery is very different from the South East.
Very lucky for me, the weather has been superb during my stay, and has only rained in an afternoon.
Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh. Sadly the path below the cliff is no longer safe to public. I was luckily I walked on it 4 years ago.

The view from Calton Hill, also Edinburgh.

National Monument of Scotland.

Calton Hill, from Holyrood Park

I am quite surprised to see a telescope on Calton Hill

After spending two nights in Edinburgh, we head to the north. Our first stop is Loch Lubnaig, after passing Callander. I had the best Oak milk latte in my life, in The Cabin right next to the Loch. There's a small carpark, if you are going Fort William from Edinburgh, you should definitely stop.

See the crocs clogs? Yes! someone is swimming in the loch!

Glencoe is absolutely stunning.

Small loch in Glencoe, Loch Achtriochtan.

Halo!

Helmsdale

It is very sad that Highlanders forced to leave their home during Highland Clearances.

Dunbeath. They have a good seafood kiosk, Tasty Toes, It is very good! Dressed crab for 6, and whole lobster for 14!

More photos on the way! See you next week
